On Nov. 19, Blue Point Elementary students learned about a variety of interesting professions during the highly anticipated Career Day event.
Parents, grandparents and community members visited kindergarten through fifth grade classrooms to share their exciting career paths. The diverse lineup of guest speakers included a physicians associate, police officer, golf course mechanic, pilot, manufacturer, firefighter, nurse, animal rescuer/investor and more. Each professional offered an inspiring glimpse into their daily responsibilities.
Students joined in the fun by dressing as the professionals they hope to become one day. The event was a great opportunity for students to connect with real-world role models and gain insight into the many exciting future career possibilities.
