Children who are five (5) years old by December 1, 2025, and who have not yet completed Kindergarten in an accredited school or approved homeschooling program, are required to enroll in Kindergarten in the Bayport-Blue Point School District.

We would like to remind families that children currently enrolled in the District’s Universal Pre-Kindergarten (UPK) program at Sylvan Avenue Elementary School and the YMCA, as well as children who have previously been registered with the district to receive special education services, do not need to re-register for Kindergarten. At the end of this school year, your child’s school records will be automatically transferred to their designated elementary school.
