On May 21, a group of Academy Street Elementary fifth graders performed their short play, “The Bunny Bounce”. The production was student-driven with the fifth graders writing, casting, and directing the entire play on their own with very little guidance. They first approached Principal Beard with the idea in October and have been working on it for months. On May 21, they premiered the show for a kindergarten through fifth grade audience. Bravo to everyone involved!
