Bayport-Blue Point High School hosted Course Expo Day on Jan. 9, offering students in grades eight through eleven a preview of the exciting academic opportunities awaiting them in the upcoming school year.
The event provided an interactive opportunity for students to explore course offerings across a variety of subjects, from foreign languages to the arts, social studies, physical education, English language arts, science and math. Students were divided by grade level and visited different locations across the school, including the cafeteria, gymnasium and auditorium, where they heard directly from the district's teachers and department heads.
Course Expo Day aimed to give students a better understanding of their future academic options and to help them make informed decisions as they plan for the next school year.
