Community Service Recognition Program
Community service has always been a hallmark of the Bayport-Blue Point community. This wonderful characteristic has never been lost of the students of Bayport-Blue Point High School. To recognize those students who go above and beyond for our community, Bayport-Blue Point High School has developed a community service recognition program.
The program is simple. Students need to complete the Community Service Verification form that can be downloaded from the below link, have it signed by the person supervising the activity, and submit it via the Google Form link found below.
Students must complete a minimum of ten hours of community service to receive recognition, and can begin accumulating hours for the school year on July 1st preceding the beginning of school. The Main Office will keep track of the total hours for a student throughout the school year. The deadline for submission for all forms at the end of the school year is June 1st.
While we do understand that people don’t perform community service for the accolades, we do feel it is important to encourage and recognize our students for their efforts. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the high school main office at (631) 472-7800.
