Last weekend, the JWY Middle School Science Olympiad team competed in the Eastern Long Island Division B Science Olympiad Regional Competition at R. C Murphy Junior High School. The team brought home 14 event medals, including a 1st place finish by Nate B. and Michael K. in Air Trajectory. The team placed 5th overall and earned a trip to the State Competition in Syracuse on April 4-5. This is the team’s 3rd consecutive trip to the State level. Congratulations to all!
