teacher shows student project

In preparing to “rock their socks” for World Down Syndrome Day, Blue Point Elementary students participated in a tie-dye workshop with their “buddy classes”. Third graders partnered with kindergarteners, fourth graders with first graders and fifth graders were paired with second graders for the fun activity. Before creating their tie-dye socks, the “buddies” filled out a worksheet to learn more about one another. The event served as a fun way for students to work together and celebrate inclusion.
