It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to Sylvan Avenue. Sylvan Avenue is a community of approximately 300 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade.

At Sylvan Avenue Elementary, we are committed to creating a positive school climate that fosters a strong academic experience. Through providing a safe and nurturing environment, our teachers and staff support students in reaching their full potential. Our staff is dedicated to fostering a lifelong love of learning, intellectual curiosity and social-emotional wellness for all.

We believe that each student brings their unique gifts, talents and passions to Sylvan Avenue. Together, we foster a school community in which all students belong, all students know that others believe in them and their abilities, and where anything is possible.

We value a home-school partnership. Collaboration among our school and families is essential in promoting the success of our students.
