James Wilson Young students get fresh air while measuring for pi

In honor of Pi Day on March 14, James Wilson Young Middle School seventh grade math classes found circular objects outdoors such as storm drains, markings on the basketball court and more. They measured the objects’ circumferences and diameters to see that the ratio was pi.
